The Haven Project is going to fill a large void in our rural community that’s needed to be filled for quite some time. Being able to link these families with the support they need—be it medical, functional, or social—is truly something special.
— Dr. Crystal Gary, physician

I am extremely excited to be part of the Haven Project! I have witnessed first-hand the struggles families of our area as they try to adequately meet the needs of their families. The Haven Project will be able to provide support to families in helping them to make the appropriate connections to meet the specialized needs for their families.
— Connie Garrett, special education teacher
The Haven Project is an organization that is greatly needed in this area. Eleven years ago, I had limited knowledge as to what was available to help me and my child. Hopefully, The Haven Project will be able to help other parents know how to contact the people who will be able to best serve their child.
— Jennifer Turner, teacher and parent of a child with special needs
We have so many lessons learned and contacts developed with service and educational entities that can be shared to help people with special needs and their families navigate the systems they need. The more we can share, the more we can refine these tools, and the fewer wheels we all have to reinvent.
— Tom Lawrence, engineer and parent of a child with special needs
While working with children with special needs and their families for almost twenty years, I have seen such a need for support for these wonderful families as they try to help their children reach their greatest potential. I am excited to be a part of The Haven Project and honored to serve the children and their families.
— Tiffany Paschal, teacher of visually impaired students
Most of all, we want people to know that they’re not alone. There is a community here for you, and help is available.
— Dr. Amanda Lawrence, program director and parent of a child with special needs
